Lincoln cross country team hangs championship banner

Lincoln students and fans celebrated the high school's first team state athletic championship in nearly 40 years during Tuesday's home basketball games as the Lincoln girls cross country team was honored after the girls varsity game.

Colson plans rare dual-sport collegiate run at KWU

Kansas Pregame coverboy Zane Colson is one of the top football players and wrestlers in all of Kansas. Thursday he made his commitment to compete in both sports collegiately at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina.

Cheney students honored with "Spirit of Sport" award

Maddy Amsink and Julie Bachard, members of the Cheney High School cross country team, have been selected to receive the KSHSAA "Spirit of Sport" award for their selfless act at the regional meet in 2018. The award recognizes the values inherent in high school sports beyond winning and losing.
