The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association released their final rankings prior to postseason play.    

The Class 3-2-1A Beloit regional featured zero ranked teams. However, the regional had a high number of elite competitors, including three undefeated wrestlers with Minneapolis’ Tyson Villalpando, Rock Hills’ Zane Colson and Ell-Saline’s Nick Davenport.

With 108 schools spread across 16 regional sites, postseason basketball begins in Class 1A Feb. 18. The top two teams from each regional advance to one of four sub-state sites starting Feb. 28. All rankings and records are accurate as of Feb. 14.

Colby wrestling took seventh in 3-2-1A last season with 58.5 points. The Eagles had just one returning state placer available for regionals this year. Senior 182-pounder Kory Finley took fourth at 170 last winter.
