The Harlem Globetrotters will return to Salina and this time they will have a hometown hero on the team – Hannah “Mighty” Mortimer. As the 17th female player in the team’s 92-year history, Mortimer has wowed fans near and far with her ball handling skills, energetic playing style and hustle.

Cobbins leading undefeated Piper on and off the court

Piper High School’s Ryan Cobbins gives back to her community in more ways than just basketball. She is among the top players in the state of Kansas. The four-year starter has eclipsed 1,000 points in her career and has earned All-State honors her freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons.

Dewey continues prolific scoring pace

Kansas Pregame Winter Covergirl Aubree Dewey, a junior for the Plainville Cardinals, heaved up 3/4 court bomb to close out the third quarter of Tuesday night's game with Trego, and much like the rest of the shots she puts up, it went in, giving the Cardinals a 25-24 lead.
