Teams across Kansas storm into the Regional round of the playoffs this week with numerous games moved to Thursday night in anticipation of inclement weather in a large swath of the state on Friday night.
We decided to take a stab at guessing the winners of this week’s playoff games below, but also took it a step further by trying to predict the closest contest in each classification indicated by an asterisk.
Check ‘em out below, and as always, good luck to all the teams this postseason.

MERIDEN, Kan - Mammoth hosted mental health speaker Damon Parker of the Jones Project on Thursday, October 27th. Parker shared a message intended to change the conversation about mental health, with the goal of more awareness and treatment of mental health challenges.
More than 100 Mammoth staff, their families, and school administrators attended the entertaining and inspirational presentation.
As we kick off Week 9 of the 2022 Kansas High School football season this evening, which launches the postseason for the majority of the teams in the Sunflower State, the staff at Kansas Pregame has turned much of our attention to the basketball and wrestling seasons that lie ahead in an effort to complete our comprehensive Winter Edition. So, we offer these rankings with limited commentary and an understanding that the playoffs - in most cases - will see the very best teams as the last ones standing come late November.
