After a desolate stretch of 53 consecutive losses that ended three seasons ago, it’s safe to say Ell-Saline basketball has bounced back.
Currently sitting at 8-1 and ranked fourth in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association Class 2A rankings, the Cardinals are coming off a Canton-Galva Tournament victory that included wins over sixth ranked Wichita Classical in the semifinals and the second ranked defending state champs Moundridge in the championship game.
Former TCU head football coach – and Kansas native – Gary Patterson, Kansas State head football coach Chris Klieman, and University of Kansas head coach Lance Leipold will headline the Kansas Football Coaches Association (KFBCA) Annual Clinic when the event returns to Wichita this February.
The clinic starts with registration at 1 p.m., Sunday, Feb.18th and continues through noon on Monday, Feb. 19th at the Hyatt Regency (deadline for booking a room in the KFBCA block is February 10th).
