KBCA All-Star Games are this weekend in Salina

The 36th-annual Kansas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game features some of the best talent across the Sunflower State.  Both games will be held on Saturday, June 22 at Mabee Arena on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University. The girls game is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.

Hammond explodes onto high school track scene

Heading into her sophomore year at Garden Plain High School, Brooke Hammond has already made quite an impression on high school track in the state. Records have fallen and state gold medals are already at three.

Coaches select All-State softball teams

A group of Kansas high school softball coaches gathered nominations and selected All-State teams for each of the state's five softball classifications. The selection committee picked the top 15 players for the first team and the next 15 for the second team in each class.

KSHSAA selects championship sites for fall and winter sports

The Kansas State High School Activity Association has announced the sites for its 2019-2020 championship games for fall and winter sports. The sites for football remain unchanged while basketball changed the location of the 2A state tournament to Manhattan from Hays.

Busy All-Star weekend in Kansas

For the first time in its 46-year history, the Kansas Shrine Bowl will take place at Memorial Stadium in Dodge City. The Shrine Bowl, scheduled for 7 p.m. on June 8th, pits the best high school football players in Kansas on the West side of the state against the best from the East side.

Modrow mentally prepared for final state meet

Osborne hurdlers look for state medals
