Key Items Approved by KSHSAA Executive Board

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Kansas State High School Activities Association Executive Board approved several items during the June meeting. Starting in 2024, State Football will be held at three locations with three games taking place at each site.

Teams split 8-Man All-Star games

The two teams split the 8-Man All-Star games in Beloit, Saturday, with the East dominating the DII contest, 54-22, behind the dynamic play of quarterbacks Garrett Maltbie (Canton-Galva) and Isaac Detweiler (Axtell), while the West edged the East in the DI game, 28-22.

East wins 6-Man All-Star game

Update: The East beat the West in a low-scoring 12-6 contest – unusual for 6-Man – in the fourth annual 6-Man All-Star game Saturday, June 3rd, in Newton.
