Teams split 8-Man All-Star games

The two teams split the 8-Man All-Star games in Beloit, Saturday, with the East dominating the DII contest, 54-22, behind the dynamic play of quarterbacks Garrett Maltbie (Canton-Galva) and Isaac Detweiler (Axtell), while the West edged the East in the DI game, 28-22.

Update: The East beat the West in a low-scoring 12-6 contest – unusual for 6-Man – in the fourth annual 6-Man All-Star game Saturday, June 3rd, in Newton.
