Frankfort wins Wabaunsee tourney

The Frankfort Wildcats won the Wabaunsee Tournament by beating the host team 48-44 in overtime Friday night. Hattie Gros set the tournament scoring record by scoring 61 points total over the three tournament games. She also tied the tournament single game scoring record with 26 points on Friday night. Hattie Gros, Lexi Dalinghaus, and Emma Hardwick all made the All-Tournament team. The Wildcats improved to 4-0 on the season with the win and are currently ranked second in 1A Division I behind Little River.

KFBCA inducts new members to Hall of Fame

The Kansas Football Coaches Association inducted the 2023 Hall of Fame class during their annual All-State selection meetings Sunday night in Wichita. Sports reporter Bethany Bowman served as emcee for the event and also worked with KFBCA Executive Director Mark Littrell to provide biographies for each honoree.
