*Update: The original release from the KBCA included Girard in the class 3A rankings, but the Trojans will play in class 4A this season. Winners of last year's 3A title, Girard will now enter the season unranked, while Hays-TMP joins the 3A poll at number 10 and Hugoton and Hiawatha move up.

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association released their first set of rankings this week just ahead of next week's start of the high school basketball season in Kansas.
