Kansas high school football student-athletes who will graduate in 2022 are eligible to apply for postgraduate scholarships offered through the Coach Bill Snyder Family / Sunflower Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

Dowload the application at this link or find it further down in this article. It was also emailed to Kansas high school athletic directors and head football coaches earlier this month. An application can also be secured by contacting chapter Executive Director Bernie Kish at bkish@ku.edu.

“We are excited to be able to recognize the outstanding achievements of our football student-athletes,” Kish said. “We hope the scholarships will help them continue their pathway of success, whether or not they continue their athletic careers.”

Applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2022. They should be submitted to Bernie Kish via email at bkish@ku.edu or mailed to chapter President Gerry McGuire at P.O. Box 3015, Lawrence, Kan., 66046. Applicants must be nominated by the head football coach and the principal must sign off on the application verifying the information is accurate. A banquet recognizing the winners will be conducted in May.

Applications will be judged by the Coach Bill Snyder Family/Sunflower Chapter of the National Football Foundation board of directors.  They will be evaluated on athletic performance, academic achievements and community/volunteer involvement.

Earlier this year the chapter awarded 13 scholarships. Check out this article for more details: Kansas NFF scholar-athletes announced
